A Familycast is a dedicated time for your family to sit down in our professional studio and share memories, life lessons, and family history. We capture the conversation using high-end audio and video equipment, creating a timeless, documentary-style heirloom you can pass down through generations.
Not at all! We’ve designed our studio to feel cozy. Once the conversation starts, the equipment fades into the background. We specialize in making everyone—especially grandparents and older family members—feel relaxed and completely at ease
No scripts necessary! While we will send you a list of thought-provoking prompts and topics ahead of time to help spark ideas, the best moments are the spontaneous, authentic ones. Just come ready to chat and share.
Our studio comfortably accommodates up to 5 family members on mic and on camera at one time. If you have a larger group for a reunion, we can discuss custom formats or rotating family members in and out of the studio.
Most families find that 90 minutes is the sweet spot. It allows plenty of time to get comfortable, share deep stories, and have a few laughs without anyone getting fatigued.
You will receive the full video file of your Familycast. This includes a high-definition video file of the conversation, as well as a pristine, standalone audio file (perfect for listening to like a podcast in the car).
Our editing team carefully reviews, color-grades the video, and masters the audio to ensure the highest quality. You can expect your finished heirloom files delivered via a secure digital download link within 2 weeks of your session.
Absolutely. We provide you with easily downloadable formats that can be shared via email, uploaded to YouTube or family drives, or watched on your smart TV during your next holiday gathering.
